About the Event
The Juneteenth Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 17, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM at Quarry Walk in Oxford, 300 Oxford Road. There will be live music, speakers, and dance performances.
At 4:00 PM the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, joined by the Gene Bozzi Jazz Quartet and Broadway vocalist, Rosena Hill Jackson will perform "Lady Sings the Blues" a tribute to Billie Holiday.
